Homeroom Hourly Child Care is the brainchild of Cassie Hall, a long-time preschool teacher who has worked throughout San Diego and Orange County since 2007. She saw a need for flexible hourly child care in the area, and with the help of family and friends, opened the first and only drop-in hourly child care center in San Diego County that is open to the public.
Homeroom is a state-licensed child care facility (#376701218) that serves children ages 2 through 12 years old. The staff are background checked, CPR and First Aid certified, and educated in Early Childhood Development. The ratio of staff-to-children is 1:12.
Parents love that they can drop off their children in a safe place without worrying about finding a nanny, babysitter, preschool, or after school program that fits their particular needs. Grandparents and babysitters love Homeroom too - it's the perfect place to drop off the kids until their parents can pick them up - or vice versa. Children can hang out with siblings, have a playdate with friends, or meet new friends while the adults in their lives attend to other things - such as going on a date night, getting a mani/pedi, going to work, working out, going shopping, or simply taking a nap in the quiet house alone!
